Wireless hand controller
Controlling an entire household of music needn't be as complicated as it sounds. In fact it can be down right simple. If you have visions of running from room to room and fumbling between remotes, sit down and relax. One SONOS hand controller can control which music or internet radio station is playing in which room of your home – all from the comfort of your favourite armchair. With its intuitive interface, the SONOS hand controller keeps everything simple.
Scroll through your music library, browse titles, view album art, queue up tracks, select music 'zones' and more. No other digital music system lets you do all that. And you don't have to run to your PC every time you want to pick a new tune or raise the volume.
You don't even need to worry about pointing the controller at anything or 'line of sight'. The SONOS controller can send signals through brick walls and over distances.
Use one Controller for your entire house or several for added convenience (up to 32).
Where this fits into the SONOS Digital Music System
The SONOS hand controller isn't a stand alone product. It is part of a complete SONOS wireless digital music system.
When you select a music track for example, the SONOS controller sends a signal to the network of SONOS ZonePlayers in your home. The ZonePlayer(s) then pass the signal on to your computer. Your computer responds to the appropriate SONOS ZonePlayer which then plays out your request.
