With this model, the Image goal was to find the perfect blend of modest proportions and \'listener appeal\' and where the full scale of music and emotions could be realised. We believe we have more than achieved our objective.

The same \'pedigree\' drivers used in other Supreme models are configured in an MTM design that uses two of the superb SEAS bass/mid drivers with a centrally mounted Morel tweeter. Using two identical drivers doubles the effective cone area for accurate and dynamic bass while maintaining high system efficiency. Combined with an impedance compensation crossover network and ease of drive, even low power amplifiers can render a life-like soundstage dimension and effortless low-end response seldom heard from a speaker of this size.

And as you would expect, Illusion has all the hallmarks that create the Image "sound":

Extensive internal bracing and sand filled cavities that create an inert and structurally sound enclosure.

NZ wool, positioned in specific high energy areas within the cabinet to absorb all internal sound energy so all you hear is music, accurate and as it was created.

Crossovers that are point to point hard wired using audio grade custom-value capacitors and high power air-core inductors for ultimate signal transfer.

With the ever-increasing move to mass production, these critical design and build issues are often overlooked in the haste to move \'numbers\'. Image though is proud to continue the tradition of hand-making each enclosure inhouse and ensuring that no corners are cut.
